When he's not bashing his friends about the head and ears with a stick of rattan dressed in medieval garb, Alan practices that bizarre brand of alchemy known as props design and building.

He is known as "The Proptologist" by his friends at Western Canada Theatre, where he works eight months of the year as the Head of Properties.

This summer, Alan is likely to be found on a film set in Revelstoke, or on his back porch eating sushi.
