John started his career in theatre at the National Theatre of Canada back in 1990.

For five years, he worked at Western Canada Theatre doing everything from lighting operator for Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night" to lighting designer for "Life Skills" to technical director of facilities for "Amadeus" & "Heat Wave".

John has done lighting designs for 20 - 30 shows in all sorts of wacky locals utilizing as few as four lights to as many as two hundred.

Presently, John is working at Interior Display Services as Crew Chief for special events.
