It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our long-time member Malcolm Lower. Malcolm was in the arms of his loving wife Liz, surrounded by his wonderful large family. Malcolm had undergone several cancer treatments including a trip to China, always with Liz at his side. His passing was due to complications from an operation at Christmas. Many of you who knew Malcolm as I did will remember him as a man who was loving, wise, generous and loved to dance. We will miss him. Malcolm had a passion for music in the Barbershop world: a world where grown men sing about the joy of living, the heartbreak of loss, and the excitement of the unknown future. Malcolm loved playing pool, fishing and boating around with a boat full of women. Malcolm was a retired accountant, having served the Langley area for many years. A supporter of our club, Malcolm served on the secret panel for several years, as well as helped out with many projects including financial advice, hosted many parties at their home and the beach. Malcolm and Liz had a great life together - they had a love for one another, family and friends." Mary Renvall, Langley Players
