PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD Overall Best Production "Mail Order Annie" ~ Sidekick Players Club

Honorable Mention was made in the category of Backstage Co-operation to Des Renard, for Vagabond Players in their production of "Beyond Therapy".

Theatre BC's Greater Vancouver Zone Recognition Award was presented to Nancy Painter for her outstanding service to the zone.

Best Production, "Mail Order Annie" presented by Sidekick Players Club, will go on to compete against the other nine zones of B.C. at the provincial level festival, Mainstage 2003, in Penticton,
July 4-12, 2003.

Zone Festivals are held in each of Theatre BC’s Zones throughout the spring, leading to the annual provincial MAINSTAGE theatre festival. Productions from each Zone Festival will participate as a "Best Production", "Workshop Play" or "Scene Development" at Theatre BC's Mainstage 2003 in Penticton/Summerland, B.C., July 4th -12th.
