Mainstage Performances
(note: Evening performances start at 8:00 PM at The Genesis Theatre)

The Mainstage Performances will be followed by a brief  public adjudication. Coffee Critiques will be held the following mornings at Delta Secondary School 9:30 - 11:30 am, providing more detailed discussion on the performance. Adjudicator for MAINSTAGE 2000 is David Ross, Artistic Director of Western Canada Theatre in Kamloops BC. The Mainstage Performances are competitive and Mr. Ross will be choosing category winners for 'The Thespian' awards following the final performance.

Workshop Plays

Workshop Play performances Start at 3 pm at Delta Secondary School  Studio Theatre.Workshop Play #1 performances are on Sunday and Tuesday. Workshop Play #2 performances are on Wednesday and Friday. The Workshop Plays Instructors are Robert Metcalfe (Workshop Play #1;"Night Mother" by Marsha Norman) and   Andrew McIlroy (Worksop Play #2 "Miracle Mother" by D.Kimmett). Following the first performance of each Workshop Play, the Instructors will work with the cast and crew on the show over the next day and a half. The show will be re-performed following the 'workshopping'. This is not only a great opportunity for the groups involved to 'tour' their show in front of their peers, but to gain the valuable educational experience of working with a professional theatre instructor.
