This romantic drama studies the relationship between Prudence Heward, an artist whose gender dictates that her accomplishments are not taken seriously, and Lawren Harris, a member of Canada’s influential Group of Seven. Both stubborn and temperamental, they find it easier to express themselves through their painting rather than say what is really on their minds to one another.

This play was the Full-Length Category winning script in Theatre BC's 12^th Annual (2000) Canadian National Playwriting Competition.
