NORTH SHORE ZONE OF THEATRE BC
FESTIVAL OF PLAYS 2010

The Theatre BC North Shore Zone Festival of Plays begins on Monday, May 3 and runs to Saturday, May 8 at the Deep Cove Shaw Theatre, 4360 Gallant Avenue, North Vancouver.  Each evening will feature a different play by member clubs of the zone, which includes groups from Deep Cove to Pemberton, as well as the Sunshine Coast.

 Joan MacLean has been appointed adjudicator by Theatre BC and her choice in the category of Best Overall Production on the closing Saturday will go forward to represent the Zone in the Provincial Finals MAINSTAGE Festival to be held in Kamloops during the week of July 2-10, 2010.

The winning play, Three Days of Rain, will represent the North Shore Zone on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Theatre BC’s annual MAINSTAGE in Kamloops, July 2-10, 2010. 


Zone Festivals are held in each of Theatre BC’s Zones throughout the spring, leading to the annual provincial MAINSTAGE theatre festival. Productions from each Zone Festival will participate as a "Best Production&q" at Theatre BC's Mainstage 2010 in Kamloops, B.C., July 2nd - July 10th, 2010
