Each year the Okanagan Zone presents The Ozzie Award in recognition of
long-time service or contribution by an individual or group to the Zone.
This award was initiated by Theatre BC on the occasion of its 60th
Anniversary (1932-1992), as a way for all 10 Zones in Theatre BC’s community
theatre organization, to acknowledge outstanding contributions to their zone
and to community theatre in B.C.
The Ozzie Award is presented at the Okanagan Zone’s yearly Drama Festival
Award Ceremony!
The pleasure of handing out this award is reserved for the previous year’s
winner.
