On Golden Pond by Ernest Thompson

presented by  Stage North Theatre Society, Fort St.John

On Golden Pond is the love story of Ethel and Norman who are returning to their summer home for the 48th year. Joining them is their divorced middle-aged daughter and the son of her fiance. A heart attack shatters the waning summer. Is time against them?

 

Friday, May 13th 

The Spector Episodes 8 and 9 by Joe Doran

presented by  Stage North Theatre Society, Fort St.John

A tribute to old-time radio plays. Live sound effects included! Gather round the microphone as each actor performs at least two roles: the radio play character and the actor portraying the radio play character

Saturday, May 14 th The Melancholy Wizard by Cynthia Livingstone

presented by Fort St. John Players


This unique troupe is comprised of adults who happen to have developmental disabilities and a great love of acting. Take a sneak preview of their new show, The Melancholy Wizard, a sequel to the hilarious The Melancholy King. To cure the King of his blues, Sirs Frick and Frack enlist wizard Al Chemy. The results are charming.

Zone Festivals are held in each of Theatre BC’s Zones throughout the spring, leading to the annual provincial MAINSTAGE theatre festival. Productions from each Zone Festival will participate as a "Best Production" or "Workshop Play" at Theatre BC's Mainstage 2004 in Kamloops, B.C.,
July 2nd -10th.
