Sidekick Players Backstage Cooperation: awarded by Festival Technical Director "TRIBUTE" White Rock Players Babs McConville received the Zone Recognition Award in honor of her membership with Stage Eireann (formerly The Emerald Players) since the late 50's.
A huge thank-you is extended to Faye Armitage, Festival Chair, for her outstanding contribution. Faye's efforts have generated tremendous support for the Vancouver Zone and attracted many new patrons to The Bernie LeggeTheatre.
Zone Festivals are held in each of Theatre BCs Zones throughout the spring, leading to the annual provincial MAINSTAGE theatre festival. Productions from each Zone Festival will participate as a "Best Production", "Workshop Play" or "Scene Development" at Theatre BC's Mainstage 2001 in Kamloops, B.C., June 30 -July 8.
