Theatre BC's ACToberFest 2007 in Kelowna, BC
As part
of Theatre BC's 75th Anniversary celebration, Theatre Kelowna Society hosted
the first
annual provincial one act festival, Actoberfest 2007, in Kelowna.
The intention of this event is to
promote small one act plays and monologues, especially new works and/or Canadian plays.
Selection of performances are based on audience appeal, variety, and production values

- Venues were the Black Box Theatre at the Kelowna Community Centre and the
banquet room at the Royal Anne Hotel (Official Hotel & Accommodation
Sponsor). - the host hotel
was the Royal Anne Hotel
- 348 Bernard Avenue, Kelowna.
- All performance tickets were $8., including the
"Best of the Fest" performances on Sunday. There was 100 seats per
performance. All sales were done at the door of each venue.
- The festival Coffee Critique with Adjudicator Linda Beaven
was held on Sunday at
10:00 am at the host hotel & was open to all participants.
- The Sunday Awards Luncheon was held at Cutter's in the
Royal Anne Hotel.
- "Best Of The Fest" performance followed at 2:00 pm
at the Black Box Theatre.
