Call for Letters: The UBC Theatre program has set up a scene shop and small rehearsal rooms at the Great Northern Way Campus. The GNWC scene shop and small rehearsal rooms have been functioning very successfully for three years, serving the Vancouver cultural community and students at the GNWC partner schools. However, the GNW Campus administration has recently had to close the Black Box Studio space to anything except high-revenue film rentals, and there's a possibility that the GNWC shop and small rehearsal rooms may no longer be funded by UBC after Dec. 31 2007.                                              More Info>>>

Granville Island Cultural Society Call for Proposals
Summer At The Waterfront June 25- Sept. 2, 2007

Providing a summer performance opportunity for theatre groups that may not have the up-front resource to mount their work, last year's program included productions of Hoarse Raven Theatre's acclaimed production of Angels in America, Shameless Hussy Productions' The Summer Of My Amazing Luck, and Morgan Brayton's one-woman show, Girls Like Me.
Summer On The Waterfront is designed to increase access and cultural activity during a traditionally slow period for the theatre, but a particularly busy time period on Granville Island.  Deadline for project proposals is January 31st, 2007.
