CCPA Begins Second Decade of Training
Canadian Stars of Tomorrow

Students who enter the Canadian College of Performing Arts (CCPA) next September will be helping us celebrate the start of our second decade of stellar growth and success.

We are searching for Canada’s next stars!...the new wave of talent that will join our grads on all of our most renowned stages such as the Stratford Festival, the Shaw Festival, the Charlottetown Festival, productions on Toronto’s most illustrious stages, all of our regional theatres and the silver screen.

Auditions will be held in Vancouver on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at 2:00pm at the Scotiabank Dance Centre, 677 Davie Street and in Victoria on Sunday, February 17, 2008 at 10:00am at the Canadian College of Performing Arts, 1701 Elgin Road.

The year will be filled with guest directors, the creation of new works, performance opportunities in a variety of professional stages. Of course this is all soundly based upon the highest standards of training in the country, the hallmark for which CCPA has become renowned.

The Canadian College of Performing Arts is a fully accredited institution of post –secondary education and is designated for Canada Student Loans in all provinces. Students enrolled in the program are 17 – 30 years of age and take a full-time multi-disciplinary program of singing, acting, musical theatre, dance and career management.

The Canadian College of Performing Arts consistently exceeds the national average of students garnering employment in a field related to their studies. Our graduates grace the world’s most illustrious stages and films across Canada and around the world.

Students who wish to apply to the college must submit an application form when they attend the audition in your area in February or March. However, students also have the option of submitting an audition on videotape by June 1st.
