month course

This unique
online program is designed to assist
executive directors work with their
boards over a five-month period with the
guidance of a group of both peers and
expert facilitators
from across
the Country.

Applications for the 2010-2011 Citadel/Banff Centre Professional Theatre Program part of The Robbins Academy at The Citadel are now being accepted The Citadel Theatre is accepting applications for the 2010–2011 Citadel/Banff Centre Professional Theatre Program, part of The Robbins Academy at The Citadel. This 19-week intensive Program of professional development is a rigorous, advanced training Program designed to embrace and enhance the skills of established theatre professionals. The curriculum of the Program comprises master classes in acting, singing, voice, movement, dance, stage combat, text, and script analysis by a Faculty of some of Canada’s leading theatre artists. The residency for the Program takes place in both Banff and Edmonton, Alberta. The Program begins at the Banff Centre and culminates in TWO MAINSTAGE productions during the 2010-2011 Citadel Theatre Season in Edmonton, Alberta. The two productions, directed by Citadel Theatre Artistic Director Bob Baker are: The World Premiere of Tom Wood’s new adaptation of THE THREE MUSKETEERS The Canadian premiere of LITTLE WOMEN, THE MUSICAL AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: • One Shakespeare monologue • A contemporary piece • A short song • Play a musical instrument (not mandatory) • There will be a movement component DEADLINE to apply for 2010/2011: April 30, 2010 AUDITIONS: You will be notified of your successful application. Auditions take place mid-May 2010 in Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton. Applicants will be responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs to their audition. funding, VYT is soldiering on and
offering acting programs starting in
late January. NOTE: The format of our advanced program Kids' Writes has changed. We will only rehearse one day a week and will not be holding a full school tour. Auditions and interviews for the opportunity to train with the best in the business will take place all across Canada in the spring of 2010, but first, hopeful candidates must submit a written application, and they only have until January 31, 2010 to do it. Interested candidates can register on-line or download an application from the NTS web site.
