Black Fabric Velour 25oz
Inherently Flame Retarded The Flame Retardant will
not wash out if wetted in any way
For several
years now Stagefab has been using superb craftsmanship
in maintaining and building of Stage Drapery. Over
these years we acquired off cuts of fabric or fabric
that does not make the grade to be made into Stage
Drapery. Sometimes these off cuts are just too short,
have small holes, have crush marks or are misdyed.
This fabric would be perfect for that backstage
masking, riser skirts, catwalk masking or anywhere where
you just need that piece of black to hide something.
This fabric is available free and by the box
only. Each box could have a single piece or several
pieces. The best part of this it is free all you need to
pay for is the shipping (a 50 yard box weighs approx
75 lbs).
Limit of 100 yards per organization and
is available on a first come first serve basis.
Please allow a couple of days for preparation for
shipment.

Getting Started with Social Media for
Artists and Arts Organizations
You’ve heard all the hype.
Using online social networks like
Facebook, Twitter, My Space, Flikr, and
YouTube to market your theatre company
seems like a great idea. Everyone is
talking about it, and the cost is free
or low. But where do you start? How do
you know that you are reaching the right
audience? Where will you find the time
to Twitter? And what the heck is a
hashtag??
While its very true that social media is
a great way to get in touch with your
current and potential clients, learning
the interface and the etiquette can be
overwhelming. Furthermore, it’s really
easy to get lost in social media, and
the return on your investment of time
may not be what you’d hoped.
What you need is a plan.
If you:
-
Are a theatre producer, marketer or
adminstrator
-
Have a small marketing budget
-
Have been considering getting into
social networking, or have started,
but feel like you need help
Then, this guide is for you!

Rehearsal Space Available for Rent in Vancouver
Located in the heart of the city at 254 E Hastings, we've unearthed a
fabulous venue we're calling the Rickshaw Theatre (formerly Shaw
Theatre.) We're adding another loco to the map, a hub for rehearsals
for all kinds of events and networks.
Behind the scenes right now, we're building a fabulous new
stage/backstage and adding movable seating (200-500 capacity).
Most immediately exciting, is that we have more affordable rehearsal
space on the map. The membership is priced accessibly and there is
storage space and a flexible use plan in place. We have a lot of
friends in the city, and we're exited to open this up to the thriving
arts community in Vancouver.
Please email me at the contact below for more information.
