Disney's Beauty and the Beast

The stage adaptation of the animated Walt Disney film about a strong-willed young woman, Belle, who breaks the spell that turned a handsome prince into a monstrous beast. Trying to save her beloved (but eccentric) father from the Beast's clutches, Belle agrees to become his prisoner forever. But once she is inside the Beast's enchanted castle, the members of his court -- who have been transformed into household objects like clocks and candlesticks -- decide to play matchmakers. As the Beast begins to fall in love with Belle, he becomes progressively less beastly. But the spell can be broken only if the Beast can get her to love him in return. And time is running out. Songs include "Be Our Guest," "Human Again," "Gaston" and the title number.

Is Disney's Beauty and the Beast appropriate for my child?

Many children over the age of 4 can remain happily and quietly seated for a 2 1/2-hour performance, but you know your child best. Parents may be asked to remove children creating a disturbance during the performance. Everyone entering the theatre must have a ticket. No babes in arms permitted.

New Year's Eve(nt)

Join Stage North to ring in the New Year with an evening of family fun following the New Year's Eve performance of Beauty and the Beast. Fun and games for the whole family. Dress up as your favorite Disney character. Sing along to your favorite Disney songs at the Karaoke Korner. Temporary tattoos and facepainting will also be available. Have your picture taken with Belle, the Beast, Lumiere, and the rest of the cast. Finger foods and drinks will be provided. There will be no alcohol served at this event.
